The North Carolina Bourbon Trail!

North Carolina has a very well established and rapidly growing distillery scene to augment the already vibrant wine and beer industries within the state. The Charlotte area, specifically, has easy access to some world class distilleries that are producing spirits that can stand up and “hold their own” against products from any other region in the world. What most people don’t realize is that North Carolina has a rich history of producing spirits that goes back 100+ years. Statesville North Carolina (about 45 minutes North of Charlotte) was considered the “Liquor capital of the World” prior or prohibition. You also can’t forget the fact that NASCAR is deeply rooted in bootlegging liquor in Western North Carolina before and after prohibition.

Distilling Is a Part of Our State’s History and Culture…

Experience it With Charlotte Distillery Tours!

What Makes Charlotte Distillery Tours Unique?

  • We know the area and we know spirits! We actually have staff that are certified (up to level 3) with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) organization. We can answer all of your questions and setup amazing experiences for your group.
  • All of our tours are custom! This is not a “cookie cutter” tour or a hop-on/hop-off bus. All of our tours are custom for each group and include any number of stops that you want (which can also include wineries and/or breweries).
  • We have a luxurious Fleet! Do you want to travel around in a limousine? We can do that. Our fleet of sedans, SUV, and Sprinter vans is almost 100% Mercedes-Benz and they are all very stylish, comfortable, and super luxurious. We even have an electric SUV (Rivian) if you prefer to tour distilleries via an electric vehicle.
  • We can handle ANY sized group! Did we mention that our fleet is large? It is very large! We can easily provide tours for groups of 100+ people. We also don’t ever cancel tours due to lack of participation. You book with us and you are good to go.
  • Our tours are door-to-door! There is going to be drinkin’ involved. The last thing you want is to drive to a pickup location for your tour as someone will be stuck driving back when you have finished. We come to you as all of our tours are door-to-door and nobody in your group will need to worry about driving.
  • We have great relationships! We are well established and have great relationships with many of the distilleries in the area. We can setup elevated experiences for you that nobody else can touch. Looking for something unique for your corporate event? We can absolutely make that happen.
  • We are legal! We actually conform to all of the state and federal transportation laws. We are fully insured, can cross state lines, and you can have open-containers in our vehicles (in North Carolina and only fermented beverages like beer and wine).
